CMCN 406

Communication Consulting

CMCN 406

This course is a capstone course for Organizational Communication students at UL. Each section of the course is assigned a client from the surrounding community to consult with and provide tools/resources to better aid the organization's assessed needs. For our work with the client, my partner Hunter and I delivered a virtual training on Strategic Planning. The content for that training is included below. Hunter and I also co-held the roles of Project Manager, overseeing our classmates deliverables for the client.

Communication Law & Ethics

CMCN 385

This course covers both the historical and philosophical context of First Amendment freedoms of speech and press. Students wrote and presented case studies, and students also held mock trials of landmark 1st Amendment Supreme Court cases. Included below is a case study I wrote on the landmark case Texas v. Johnson (1989).

CMCN 385

Leadership Communication

CMCN 307

This course included weekly readings and written case studies on communication's role in serving, teamwork, diversity, problem solving, etc. Included below is a case study I wrote on the effects of diversity in teamwork.
